MAJ (Ret.) Dr. Kenyon Conklin brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to service to her role on the Board of Directors at Deep Blue Dive Therapy. With a distinguished career spanning over a decade in private veterinary practice and a notable tenure in the Army Veterinary Corps, Kenyon’s leadership and dedication have significantly shaped her approach to supporting fellow veterans.

Kenyon’s military career is marked by a series of impactful roles, including serving as the company commander of a deployable medical unit, a section chief in a Department of Defense R&D facility, and the Group Veterinary Surgeon for the 5th Special Forces Group. These positions provided her with invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by service members both during and after their military careers. Her unique perspective is grounded in a profound understanding of the needs of veterans, shaped by her own experiences and her commitment to their well-being.

Open about her own invisible scars, Kenyon is particularly passionate about helping veterans access the resources that best meet their needs. She believes in the power of community and is dedicated to guiding those who are working to heal from PTSD, military sexual trauma, traumatic brain injuries, and other unseen wounds. Kenyon’s mission aligns seamlessly with the values of Deep Blue Dive Therapy, where she envisions a supportive environment where veterans can find solace and renewal.

Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Kenyon finds solace and joy in riding and competing with her horses across the picturesque Maryland countryside. She is also embarking on her dive certification journey, looking forward to enjoying the underwater world alongside her Deep Blue family. Kenyon’s diverse experiences and passionate advocacy make her a valued member of our board, driving our shared mission to support and uplift those who have served.
